Tatnell Fired Up To Regain Some Credibility

There is no doubt the Brooke Tatnell name has taken a hammering in the past six months and the man himself knows that this years World Series Sprintcars is about pure redemption and getting his reputation back.

“I definitely am out to prove a point to the Sprintcar fraternity that I should not be written off just yet.”

“The past year in America I felt like the way things went I lost a bit of credibility and its all about getting some of that back.”

“The best way to do that right now is to go out there and win a record 8th World Series Sprintcars championship!”

Tatnell is the winningest driver in World Series Sprintcars history and along the way has played the strategy game better than most to ensure championship success. This year however he warns of a completely different game plan.

“Ive told the boys already, this year I aint about playing safe. I am going out there to win everything there is to win!”

There is no doubting the Krikke Motorsports team possess the arsenal to provide a winning car night in and night out and Tatnell is once again pleased with what he sees.

“The paint scheme is a little different and looks really nice. Apart from that however its pretty much the normal.”

“That’s the great thing about running for Shane. I know I can land and the team will have everything in order and ready to go.”

“We have so much confidence in the team and I can tell you I was looking forward to getting back in the seat of this car the entire flight back to Australia!”

With Tatnell’s hunger at an all time high, the only doubt that lingers is exactly how the fitness level will hold up after his lengthy lay off.

“My fitness is probably around 50% of what I have been in recent years, but mentally I am at about 120%.”

“I have raced injured before and my perserverance and pigheadness has gotten me through just fine!”

This weekend Tatnell and the Krikke Motorsports team embark on that record 8th championship quest and with a determined Brooke at the wheel Id suggest all fans keep an eye out for the WA #2 Cool car as works it way to the front.
