What A Difference A New Car Made For Titan Tatnell With The Outlaws!

“What a difference a new car makes,” grinned Brooke Tatnell over the phone today as he reflected on last weekend’s Titan Racing USA’s battle with the World of Outlaws at West Memphis and Haubstadt Speedways respectively.

“The new car was fantastic,” he admitted, “I really felt like we could get somewhere with the new Maxim and the crew worked together really well. Rob (Hart) and Warren (Beard) both had the car set up beautifully and we got some good speed from it. I’m pretty happy all things considered.”

Tatnell placed the Titan Racing USA #21AU Maxim into the top three at West Memphis on Friday night, despite having only raced there once over fifteen years ago!

“We qualified third and we ran third, which is pretty reasonable considering we were running a brand new car for the first time.”

The next night saw the World of Outlaw schedule move to Haubstadt Indiana where Tatnell was running strongly in the A-Main before tangling with Donny Schatz and some other cars and being sent to the rear at the restart.

“We moved from the back to 13th by the fall of the chequers but I’m still happy we passed a few cars and had good car speed. The new car has made such a difference to my confidence and our results. I feel really good about this weekend coming now.”

Speaking of this weekend, Tatnell and the Titan Racing USA team of Rob Hart and Warren Beard head to Husets Speedway in South Dakota for the Friday night and the legendary Knoxville Raceway in Iowa on Saturday.

Tatnell has strong results at both places in the past and is keen to get in amongst it with the new Titan USA Maxim this time around.
